518 Notary Direct is a mobile notary service based in Rotterdam, New York, and working across Albany and the entire Capital Region. Rather than asking you to find parking downtown and wait in line, we bring the stamp, the seal and the journal to your kitchen table, your office, a hospital room, a care facility, or the closing table you were already sitting at.

Most of what we notarize cannot wait for a free weekday afternoon: real estate purchase and refinance packages, powers of attorney, wills and trusts, health care proxies and living wills, loan signing packages for title companies and lenders, and the everyday acknowledgments, jurats and oaths that hold business paperwork together.

We work for homeowners and buyers, adult children arranging care for a parent, attorneys and paralegals who need a signing handled today, title and escrow teams, dealerships, small business owners, and anyone whose working hours make an office visit impossible. Evening and Saturday appointments are standard here, not a special request.

Every appointment is handled by the same commissioned New York State Notary Public — appointed in 2004, insured, and a member of the National Notary Association. Identity is verified, the notarial certificate is completed correctly, and witnesses are planned for in advance when your document requires them. We are not attorneys and we do not draft documents or give legal advice; our job is making sure the signature in front of us is properly certified.
